Occam does offer the OCAPS server for purchase, which meets the above specifications. Documentation is provided that describes the installation process; however, some customers may choose to purchase the OccamView Quick Start. This provides for two days of on-site support from an Occam Field Services Engineer (FSE). The FSE performs the installation and configuration of the OccamView software on the network management server and will provide an informal introduction to NOC personnel. This allows you to get hands-on experience with a FSE on how to install, turn up, and use your OccamView system. The FSE will also assist you in customizing the windows and preferences to meet your network needs, including device discovery, threshold alarms, monitoring capabilities, and customer access accounts. The customer should have the recommended hardware platform and operating system installed. All prerequisite software should be on-site and available to the FSE.
